If using your credit card at SierraCreek results in subsequent unauthorized use of your card, we'll cover your liability up to $50.

Simple Details
The unauthorized use must have resulted from giving your credit card information to SierraCreek online, not from fault of your own. Our guarantee applies only if your credit card information was given to us over the SierraCreek secure server. If you discover unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures. You must also notify us of the problem in writing, by e-mail or letter.
We limit our Safe Shopping Guarantee to $50 because your credit card provider will either cover the unauthorized charges altogether, or limit your liability to $50 or less. Your card user agreement will have the details.

Should the Unlikely Occur
Though highly improbable, should unauthorized charges ever appear on your credit card within 60 days of your purchase on SierraCreek, please do the following immediately:

 1. Contact your credit card company as soon as possible and report the unauthorized charges. Request to speak to a representative of the credit card company?s fraud department. The representative will have details regarding the company?s fraud claim process and assess whether a personal liability fee applies in your specific case.
2.  If your credit card company determines that the charges resulting from your online purchase at SierraCreek were fraudulent and holds you responsible for any unauthorized charges, contact us promptly by e-mail or by mail. Please include the following information in your communication.

  • Your name
  • Daytime phone number
  • Billing address
  • A copy of the credit card statement in question
        (circle any fraudulent charges)
  • Proof of the credit card company?s fraud determination and liability fee
  • A brief description of the incident
  • 3.  SierraCreek will quicly contact you and confirm your claim. If the unauthorized charges resulted through no fault of your own, SierraCreek will reimburse your credit card account up to $50. We also will send you a letter confirming the reimbursement.
